What is IConnectAmerica (ICA)?

ICA is a Citizens-based media outlet, organizational development resource and fundraising Limited Liability Company.  ICA works with Citizens to transform their cause into a program for increasing (1) self-governance, (2) economic freedom or (3) religious liberty.  ICA works with individuals, groups and organizations on causes to increase independence, resilience and self-reliance.

From local causes to statewide causes, the ICA combines crowdfunding with social networking to educate, organize and mobilize Citizens, families and communities.   Crowdfunding offers Citizens the opportunity to raise funds from individuals and organizations around the Country who support the cause of liberty.

Through social media, blogging, podcasts and live streaming video, causes are publicized and showcased.   At a certain point this critical mass of people, information and passion for liberty is transformed into a movement to restore our Constitutional Republic, values and liberty.

ICA eligibility requirements

To be eligible to develop and produce a “cause” you must meet the following requirements:

  • You are 18 years of age or older
  • You are a US Citizen either creating a cause in your own name or on behalf of a group of individuals who meet the eligibility requirements.
  • You have a bank account, US address, US and government-issued ID (driver’s license or passport).
  • You have a major credit or debit card.
  • Your funding target goal should be the minimum amount required to complete your cause.
  • You must donate a minimum of $5.00 to another cause on the ICA platform.

What are Cause Campaigns?

ICA causes restore our Constitutional Republic, generally, and specifically to increase (1) self-governance, (2) economic freedom and (3) religious liberty.

Self-Governance grows liberty through causes that empower individuals, families and communities. Through self-governance Citizens challenge and reject bureaucratic rules and regulations which inhibit personal responsibility and self-reliance.

Economic freedom grows liberty through causes that encourage the replacement of government run operations with private sector enterprises, the elimination of government bureaucratic rules and regulations which inhibit innovation, research and development in the private sector.

Religious Liberty causes are the underpinning of our self-governance and economic freedom. Through the restoration of religious liberty in the public and private sectors, Americans reclaim their natural rights and the principle that our freedom does not come from government but our religious and spiritual faith.

Causes are supported by the setting of monetary goals towards which money can be donated through the ICA platform.  The total for each cause is updated in realtime as money is donated.

Through causes, ICA provides Citizens the opportunity to create an image of what liberty means to them.  In this sense, causes are personal and unique.   It represents distinct values and beliefs.  By creating causes, individuals are able to portray liberty in a variety of ways.  Liberty causes producers are encouraged to use art, music, videos, etc., to create a vibrant picture of liberty.

Crowdfunding to Make American Great

Citizens who are serious about increasing self-governance, economic freedom or religious liberty are encouraged to produce a Cause for Liberty on the ICA platform.  Crowdfunding is where Citizens or Citizens representing small groups and organizations raise funds to support the causes they have designed and produced. ICA refers to Citizens who start causes as producers.

Through ICA causes we can restore the importance of America as a nation of producers.  ICA helps producers educate, organize and mobilize campaigns to raise funds from large numbers of US Citizens. ICA uses PayPal and Stripe to raise funds online. PayPal and Stripe are proven and trusted transaction processing secure payment method.

The ICA Producer Social Network

ICA producers are encouraged to share their causes with key supporters and expand outward. Beginning with friends, family members and colleagues, ICA producers share their causes in a broad-based social network.  That’s how social networking begins.

How does ICA crowdfunding work?

Through a payments process voluntary donations for listed cause campaigns are collected on the ICA crowdfunding web site.

Service Fees

ICA applies a 5% fee.  PayPal applies a 3-5% processing fee. Stripe applies a 2.9% + 30¢ processing fee.  Every cause’s tax situation is different so make sure you contact your tax consultant.  The ICA does not provide any tax advice.

Setting a deadline

Your funding cause period is determined at the beginning of your campaign. It should be noted that shorter periods set a tone of confidence which motivate Citizens to back your cause.

ICA Rules of Operations

Besides monitoring all causes, ICA does a detailed prescreening of causes before their approval.  Funds minus all service fees (as described above) are distributed directly to cause producer(s) at the end of the cause time period.

All causes must be in compliance with Arizona laws and regulations.
